The company produced a statement in relation to the UK Modern Slavery Act. In the introduction the statement states, "Those subsidiaries of EDF Energy Holdings Limited that are required to make their own statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, together with both NNB Holding Company (HPC) Limited and NNB Holding Company (SZC) Limited, have adopted this statement"(1). This quote shows reference to the UK modern slavery act as it it the year 2015. The statement also makes reference to the act on page 2.

"This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes EDF’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending31 December 2021"
