"approved by" rather than "signed by" - does this meet the metric?
This is the result of bad technical practices... Their website where the statement is published makes it difficult to retrieve a good quality copy of the statement. So in the snapshot that we have on WikiRate the data is lost, but on the actual site you can see the signature: https://www.eonenergy.com/about-us/maintaining-standards/modern-slavery-statement.html
There was no direct signature of any group or individual at the beginning or end of the statement. The Modern Slavery Act Statement did state that E.ON's "Human Rights Policy Statement is signed by all Management Board members", but this is for the Human Rights Policy Statement and not the signature for the MSA Statement.
"This statement has been approved by the E.ON SE Board of Directors on behalf of E.ON on June 9" (page 4/8). Does this meet the metric despite it not saying "signed by"
"Dr. Ing. Leonhard Birnbaum
Chief Executive Officer, E.ON SE
June 2022"
This is lost in the snapshot that we can take of their website, but when visiting the original source on their webpage you can see the signature.
