You can add more companies than that; they just have to have shorter names ;)
Seriously it looks we'll have to look into using POST/PUT instead of just GET requests. Did this happen when you clicked "Submit" or "Add items"? (I would have thought that "Submit" was already using POST/PUT...
Fwiw, this probably doesn't have anything to do with subprojects per se; I expect you'd eventually hit the same problem on any project.
Right, ok. It indeed seems to be an issue with the general "adding" interface. At the moment I can mediate it by adding them with 5 at a time...
The problem already happens when clicking "add items".. after a little wait and a few more (frantic) clicks on "add items" it then took me to the error message (shown in the screenshot).
Nope.. unfortunately my 5 a time "trick" did not hold up.. It's no longer allowing me to add any companies. I'm not sure if the length of the company name is the problem though... Even companies that have a short name are not sticking any more... Or did you mean all the company names put together? :)
yeah, all put together. Right now this is functioning by stringing the whole list into one URI. That limit will persist until we change how that works.
deploying fix to staging that will allow these cards to handle more like 800 companies.
