I think I fixed this one when I saw it, but it could apply to any Categorical metric that doesn't have options set up.
Here are the "+value options" cards for Categorical metrics that currently don't have options: metrics needing options
If a categorical metric doesn't have options, maybe the default would be a free text rather than a "select" drop- down? That way there would at least be the option to answer the metric question. But anyway, the metrics needing options page is cool to know about! And thanks for fixing this one:)
The definition of a categorical metric is pretty much that its answers must fall into pre-set categories (options). free text would invite bad data, imo
The issue is really that we need to help users by validating the metric, such that it is clear that the metric isn't ready to go if it is a categorical metric with no categories.
Is this still on the radar? Should we leave this ticket (or any ticket) open when it's on Berlin's plate?
we can close:)
