Swisscom indicates that details such as the user's name, address, and email address are collected as they are provided by users "as part of an order or participation in a contest or survey, for example" and that IP addresses are "log[ged] when you visit our site." In its description of which cookies it collects it provides a sense of how these are gathered when users are online: "Cookies capture usage information such as the date and time of your visit, the name of the site you visited, the IP address of your device and the operating system you use. Cookies provide information such as our sites you visit and which sites you came from before you arrived on our site. Using cookies also helps us keep track of what topics you were researching on our websites sites."
