Hi Wilma,
If you're adding a data point for the same year, the system will not allow it. You can however delete the other person's answer and replace with yours, preferably leaving a comment in the Discussion field about the changed value and where you found it. Do this by clicking the value itself - this will take you to a new page where you can replace the old answer with the new (on the new page, click the edit icon to change the value).
